Performances

K-12 Schools

Our primary goal is to enrich the students’ cultural perspective through Western Taiko performance. During a school assembly, we perform a mixture of traditional and western taiko pieces. We address the history of taiko, showcase our instruments, and teach students how taiko is learned. We encourage students to ask questions during the discussion. We invite students and faculty to join us in a dance and song to close out the program.

Community Events

We perform at many community events in the North West Ohio region. These are our favorite events to be at as we get to share taiko with our community. These events are open to the public and we encourage audience participation! Events we participate in yearly are: BGSU’s Cherry Blossom Festival, Toledo Sister Cities International, Black Swamp Arts Festival, and Relay for Life. We are a great addition to any festival, marathon, and convention.

Private Events

Invite Kazenodaichi Taiko to entertain your guests at your next personal event. We have played at graduations, weddings and company events. We bring energy, joy, and movement to your event. We understand the uniqueness of each occasion and look forward to creating the perfect performance to suit your needs!
